Mold is our local market town, about 10 minutes drive away. Market days are Wednesday and Saturday. Wales's premier theater is here, Theater Clwyd, there is always something on in the main theater, studio theater and their cinema. The theater also houses two exhibition galleries.

The Snowdonia National Park, about 1 hour away is famous for the breathtaking scenery, first class walking, climbing and scrambling and of course Snowdon itself.
Llanberis which is the village at the foot of Snowdon is the terminus for The Snowdon Mountain Railway to the top of Snowdon.

There is so much to see in this border area. At Holywell about 10 minutes away there is St. Wynefrides well a shrine of pilgrimage since the middle ages.

Within 45 minutes you could be at the ever popular family resorts of Rhyl and Prestatyn

Chester is only 30 minutes awy. This is a city with 2000 years of history a magnificent Cathedral an award winning zoo a racecourse built on a medieval field, The Roodee and of course one of the North West's best shopping areas.

Talking about shopping, as well as Chester just 45 minutes away we have Cheshire Oaks This is an outlet village. There are well over 100 shops selling everything you could want, all at a discount.
